Q&A

Are there order limits?

Nope. You can put as many requests in the cue as you like. Each request is tackled in order, and is normally delivered within 2 days from starting.

How do I pause or cancel?

All of the payments are handled via Stripe, and you can pause or cancel using your Stripe account access. If you don’t have enough work available to justify paying for a coming month you can pause and you will not be billed for the upcoming period.

When you cancel you’ll receive a prorated refund for the current billing period. Billing is monthly.

What counts as a task?

Humanizer provides a workflow document to all clients that shows task breakdowns for larger projects. For example, ‘animated video’ is not a task, but ‘storyboard for a video’ is a task.

Can't I just hire a designer?

Absolutely! But if you hire one full-time then you have to onboard them into your team, and make certain they’re a fit. You also hopefully get them benefits. This can be expensive if they are underutilized, and difficult if they ultimately don’t work out.

Humanizer can deliver interface designs, websites, video packages and 3D renderings. And you can pause or stop whenever you like. Whether you need a variety of deliverables, or just another 1/2 person, Humanizer can fit in.

What won't Humanizer do?

Humanizer can deliver most projects with the exception of 3D modeling (we do texturing, rendering, basic animation, 3D motion graphics), character animation, books, magazines, & packaging.

Do you offer refunds?

Sorry, but no. The work done by Humanizer is done to a very high standard, and comes with both effort and experience. Any design notes or changes you submit will be updated. There are no fixed budgets or revision rounds. Great design that works for you, your business and your audience is the goal. Because of this no refunds are offered.

Billing cycles are one month, and if you cancel your subscription you’ll be refunded the prorated balance of the month.

What tools do you use?

Tools vary by project and client. Design is done mostly in Figma, but also Canva, Affinity Designer, and Photoshop. Video and motion graphics are done in either After Effects, Premiere, or Resolve. 3D rendering is done in Cinema 4D or Blender. Sites can be built using WordPress (Divi), Wix, or Webflow.

Can you build e-commerce sites?

Definitely! Wix is great for e-commerce. Woocommerce is a very flexible option for WordPress. And Webflow has good e-commerce tools.
